Prayer for Vocations

O God, you sent your Son, Jesus,

to bring eternal life to those who believe.

I join him in praying for laborers for your harvest.

May your Holy Spirit inspire men and women

to continue his mission through your priesthood,

diaconate, religious life and lay ministry.

May this same Spirit make known your will for my life.

Amen.

Prayers after Holy Communion

What has passed our lips as food, O Lord,

may we possess in purity of heart,

that what is given to us in time, be our healing for eternity.

May Your Body, O Lord, which I have eaten,

and Your Blood which I have drunk, cleave to my very soul,

and grant that no trace of sin be found in me,

whom these pure and holy mysteries have renewed.

Who live and reign, world without end.

Amen.
