Prayer for Holiness

O Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the living God,

Who, by the will of the Father,

with the cooperation of the Holy Spirit, have by

Your death given life to the world, deliver me by this

Your Most Sacred Body and Blood from all sins and from every evil.

Make me always cling to Your commmandments,

and never permit me to be separated from You.

Who with the same God the Father and the Holy Spirit,

live and reign, God, world without end.

Amen.

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good,

for his mercy endures forever.

Let the house of Israel say,

“His mercy endures forever.”

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad.

Prayer To Our Lady Of Sorrows

O Mother of Sorrows,

with strength from above

you stood by the cross

sharing the sufferings of Jesus,

and with tender care

you took him in your arms,

mourning and weeping.

We praise your faith,
for accepting the life God gave you.

We praise your hope,

for trusting God would do great things

through you.

We praise your love,

for bearing with Jesus

the sorrows of his passion.

Holy Mary,

may we follow your example

and stand by all your children

who need comfort and love.

Mother of God,

stand by us in our trials

and care for us in our many needs.

Pray for us now

and at the hour of our death.

Amen.
